Now You’re Thinking With Portals!

And yes, that is Christopher Walken.

Photoshop Storytelling

A tale of two children, as told through pictures.

I editied these using photoshop, and I suppose I got a tad overzealous with the liquify tool, but you can also see that I used a lot of artistic filters. It’s really not that hard to apply a filter to an image, either. They’re also very handy for spicing up a boring image macro on a website, depending on the site’s content. Here’s how to do it:

Open Photoshop and the image you want to edit.

Click on “Filter” in the top options bar.

Click “Artistic” and it will take you to a menu where you can choose from many different styles of filters. For example,  I used Fresco for many of my images, specifically the ones containing the boy and the girl.

Audio Project

I also used Avid to edit raw audio of a 30 minute interview of a grandmother and her daughter, which you can find here.

Video Project

Here’s a video I edited using Avid Xpress Pro. I would’ve added music to it, but I wanted to go with a documentary feel, so my apologies if it’s a bit boring.
